How can I buy a Voyager?

A Voyager is purchased directly through Mango Team Company Limited, the company behind the EOS Voyager project.

We believe that buying a yacht should be a personal process. We therefore work directly with interested owners to discuss their requirements, configuration, equipment and delivery expectations.

Where are the Voyager yachts built?

The Voyager yachts are being developed by Mango Team Company Limited in Krabi, Thailand, and are planned to be built in collaboration with Seaman Yacht / P.S.P. Fibertech Co., Ltd. at their boatyard in Thap Sakae, Prachuap Khiri Khan, on the Gulf of Thailand.

Seaman Yacht has extensive experience in fiberglass boat and yacht construction and provides the production facilities and technical expertise required to bring the Voyager design from concept to reality.

The Voyager 47 is currently the most advanced model in our development programme, with production planning and engineering progressing alongside the final development of the yacht.

Is the Voyager fully electric?

The Voyager is designed around electric propulsion and an energy-efficient onboard system.

Solar power, battery storage, electric propulsion and intelligent energy management are key elements of the concept. But our approach goes beyond simply replacing conventional engines with electric motors.

Wherever practical, we aim to reduce or eliminate the need for fluids and complex mechanical systems. This includes solutions such as electric or mechanical alternatives to hydraulic systems, avoiding seawater cooling where a more efficient air-cooled solution is possible, and carefully considering every onboard system from an efficiency and maintenance perspective.

At the same time, efficiency should never come at the expense of comfort. Our goal is to combine the most suitable and efficient technologies available with a high level of luxury, comfort and refinement on board.

Technology is developing rapidly, so the exact configuration may evolve as new solutions become available. We want to remain open to the latest technologies that allow us to make each Voyager more efficient, more reliable, quieter and more luxurious.

How far can the Voyager travel?

In short: if you slow down enough, the answer is almost anywhere, as long as there is enough water under the keel.

The Voyager is designed for efficient long-distance cruising, with a battery capacity of approximately 200 kWh and a propulsion system designed to make the most of every unit of stored energy.

At higher speeds, energy consumption increases significantly and the practical range becomes more limited. At slower cruising speeds, however, the Voyager can operate extremely efficiently and, combined with solar generation and appropriate energy management, can remain underway for very long periods.

In theory, with a sufficiently low cruising speed, favourable conditions and continuous energy management, the Voyager could keep moving day and night and ultimately travel enormous distances.

The actual range will always depend on speed, weather, sea conditions, payload, energy consumption and solar availability. We will publish detailed range and performance figures as the final technical configuration is established.

Can I stay overnight on a Voyager?

Yes. The Voyager 47 is designed primarily as a versatile day-cruising yacht, but it also provides comfortable accommodation for overnight stays and shorter trips.

With its cabins and onboard facilities, the Voyager 47 can be used for everything from a relaxing day on the water to a weekend or short family adventure.

Larger Voyager models are being developed with longer journeys and extended stays in mind.

What makes the Voyager different from a conventional motor yacht?

The Voyager was conceived from a different starting point.

Instead of simply replacing a conventional engine with an electric motor, we look at the entire energy and operating system of the yacht – from solar generation and battery storage to propulsion, energy management, water production and onboard consumption.

The result is intended to be a quieter, cleaner and significantly more efficient way of experiencing the water, while also reducing the ongoing cost of operation.

Depending on how the yacht is used, how far it travels and how many days it spends underway, the savings compared with a conventional motor yacht can potentially be substantial over the course of a year.

Daily operation can also become much simpler. There is no need for conventional fuel refuelling, while onboard solar generation, battery storage and a watermaker allow the yacht to operate much more independently from shore-based infrastructure.

Less fuel. Less maintenance. Less dependency. More freedom.

At the same time, the Voyager is designed to retain the comfort, luxury and experience expected from a modern yacht.

How much solar power does the Voyager have?

Solar power is an integral part of the Voyager concept rather than an additional feature.

The available solar capacity depends on the model and its final configuration. We use the available roof area to generate as much clean energy as practical while maintaining the design, functionality and comfort of the yacht.

As solar technology continues to improve, future Voyager models may benefit from even greater efficiency and energy generation.

Can the Voyager be customised?

Yes. Customisation is an important part of the Voyager concept.

Depending on the model and stage of construction, owners may be able to influence elements such as interior layout, equipment, energy systems, onboard technology and other features.

We also welcome ideas and suggestions from future owners. If you have a particular requirement or an idea that could make your Voyager better suited to the way you want to use it, we would love to hear about it.

When will the first Voyager be available?

The Voyager 47 is currently the most advanced model in the EOS Voyager development programme.

Our current planning target is approximately 15 months from confirmed order to completion of a Voyager 47.

This is a preliminary planning estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery time. The actual schedule may be influenced by engineering, component availability, production requirements, commissioning and other factors that can arise during the build process. We believe it is important to communicate a realistic timeframe rather than create expectations that may be difficult to meet.

The main construction and structural work is planned to take place at Seaman Yacht in Thap Sakae, Prachuap Khiri Khan, on the Gulf of Thailand. Further stages of outfitting, finishing, commissioning and customisation are expected to take place in Thailand, including at our facilities in Krabi. The exact allocation of the different production stages is still being refined.

Our priority is to build each Voyager properly rather than simply build it quickly. We will provide confirmed production and delivery schedules as the project progresses and the individual yacht configuration is agreed.

The first Voyager 47 will be available for viewing once construction is sufficiently advanced. We also plan to document the development and construction process through our website and future EOS Voyager updates.
